Altitude: 1100 meters

Viticulture: Organic, certified in transition

Soils: Sandy loam over calcium carbonate coated gravels, 30 to 50 cm deep

Climate: Cool average temperatures and nights with wide thermal amplitude, relatively more humid than other areas of Mendoza

Aging: Oak barrels and 5000 liter foudres, 12 months

Tasting Notes: “One of  two Ayni Malbec releases in 2015, this is made in a fruitier, more approachable style with understated oak. Balanced, floral and elegant, it’s sappy and appealing, with notes of liquorice and black plums and a long, tangy finish” Tim Atkin.
